SBC is located in the AlbaNova
University Center (a.k.a. SCFAB or Fysikcentrum) at
Roslagstull/Albano, geographically between the main campus of The Royal Institute of Technology (KTH) and the Stockholm University Frescati campus. We are on the ground floor of Roslagstullsbacken 35 (in the West Wing, no less!). An internal name somtimes used is "House 16".

How to find us:

Take the subway to the station "Tekniska Högskolan". Take the
"Körsbärsvägen" exit and continue walking in the same
direction when you reach street level. You have two choices...

- Print out one of the maps above (preferably the KTH map [pdf], which covers the entire walk from the subway station) to take with you, just in case...

Walk up the street to the road "Körsbärsvägen"
(approx. 100 meters)
- Go past a high residential building on your
left. Keep going in the same general direction. Do not turn right
with the main road.

Go straight through the housing estate (dotted line on the KTH map).

Continue on the Ruddammsbacken street until the T intersection.
- Our house, which is yellow, is to the left across the Roslagstullbacken street. It says "Roslagstullsbacken 35" on a sign by the entrance.

Walk up the street to the road "Körsbärsvägen"
(approx. 100 meters) where there is a bus stop.

Take a bus (any of the lines 43 or 44) towards "Ruddammen", which is
the last stop for both lines.

Our house, which is yellow, is on the same street as the bus stop. In
fact, you passed right by it some 30-40 meters before the bus stop, so
you just have to backtrace the bus route a tiny little. It says
"Roslagstullsbacken 35" on a sign by the entrance.

Park behind the main Albanova building (the big white curved one) on the north-western end of Ruddamsvägen,
and get a ticket.

Enter the main building, take the elvator to level 5, exit and walk across
the campus to our building on Roslagstullsbacken 35. Use the door
phone to contact your host. See here

You'll need an entrance card to enter the building.
At this point, if you have a mobile phone, please call the person
you are visiting and ask them to meet you at the entrance to Roslagstullsbacken 35.
- If there is a problem, you may wish to visit the reception in the main building -- a large white modern-looking construction with an astrodome structure on the roof. The address is Roslagstullsbacken 21 and the reception is to the left after entering the building through the bridge.
Additional information
Access is also possible from the Albano area to the north of the
AlbaNova University Center, but this is best left to those who know the area.
